I need more of an idea what patterns are going to be included in the club before I decide to spend the money…. any more hints… patterns to look at … ideas of what we’ll be making?

Hi, we’re designing the patterns as we go along! But there will be a lot of lace and some other texture like cables or brioche. Each package will include a pattern for a shawl or stole and something else like a cowl, cap, fingerless gloves, so you’ll have a choice of what to make. Most of the projects will be one or two skeins, and most will have an extra special accessory that comes with them, like a shawl pin or a hand-made button from Alaska, and so forth. Everything will be inspired by Alaska.

If you’ve seen my books Successful Lace Knitting and Arctic Lace, you can see some of the previous lace patterns I’ve put out. Some are more traditional (Arctic Lace) and some are more of a mixture of traditional and modern (Successful Lace Knitting). Plus Susan is doing some of the designs and she is a fabulous designer, although she hasn’t published I’ve seen her wearing her designs and they are always gorgeous.

As far as yarns go, there will be three months where you receive a different qiviut yarn (unless you get an upgrade, then you may be getting vicuna or guanaco), silk, angora, and camel as it looks right now. But if I find any other amazing or hard to find yarns throughout the year, I will throw them into the mix.

    I hope that helps!
