\"Book<\/a><\/p>\n

Last night, Twisted rocked with laughter and fun, as we celebrated “Annetarsia Knits” launch into the world.\u00a0 So many people were involved with creating the book at different times, that many hadn’t met each other.\u00a0 And, of course, they are all wonderful, interesting people, so it was a great party.\u00a0 Test knitters met photographers and models. Families and friends were there, so we got to hear fun stories. Knitters who were just there to buy books and meet me, got to meet everybody!\u00a0 It was a delightful evening.<\/p>\n

Deb Accuardi made a spread of food that was so spectacular that I wouldn’t let anyone eat until Bill took a picture. I so appreciated her contribution, her company and her support.\u00a0 As with so many people there, Deb was with me through the years of creating “Annetarsia Knits”.\u00a0 She is a very busy lady, so having her there last night was really a special treat.\u00a0 I’d get the recipe for the Watermelon\/Mint drink that she made, but I couldn’t reproduce it in a zillion years.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many friends from Camp Namanu were there, which meant a lot of me.\u00a0 Camp bonds run deep, and we tend to show up for each other, so I wasn’t completely surprised.\u00a0 Many knitters are planning to knit the Namanu shawl, and I am thrilled that the spirit of friendship, community and loyalty that Namanu represents will go out into the world that way.<\/p>\n
