Here is a run-down of my week – an overview, because lots happened and there will be more details later on specific things I ‘ve been working on<\/p>\n

Craftsy filming – Such a great experience, and I thank everyone at Craftsy central who helps make my dreams come true.\u00a0 I loved preparing and presenting this class, and although I can share details yet, I am very excited about it!<\/p>\n

Marshall, and Evan Cannon. Evan produced the class, and was a complete partner in the process. It made my job easier and more fun to know that I could trust him totally. This is going to be such a fun class!!!!!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I can’t show you the knitting from class, but I started a few other projects.\u00a0 I cast on for Strandwanderer, which is a very clever pattern.<\/p>\n

I also cast on for the Blue Moon Fiber KAL, and did Clue #1.\u00a0 I love the Yaksi yarn, which has a very unusual feel to it.\u00a0 The yarn is quite firm, but very soft.\u00a0 It is unique!\u00a0 Looks great, so far.<\/p>\n

I taught Part 2 of “Basics of Annetarsia” at For Yarn’s sake, yesterday, and was very pleased with the student’s progress, and how much fun they were having.\u00a0 Half the class had already cast on for variations from from the class sample.\u00a0 Here is Lynda’s washcloth, knit with cotton in amazing, happy colors.<\/p>\n

I went to OFFF (Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival) yesterday, saw some friends and picked up a few things :) The place was so packed with yarn, fiber, tools and accessories that I could barely find room to get a photo.<\/p>\n

So much yarn, so little time.\u00a0 There was a nice area with picnic tables and food vendors for people to catch their breath!<\/p>\n

Today, I am sticking close to home.\u00a0 I’m making organic beef broth (fall is coming!),<\/p>\n

and casting on for the A Hundred Ravens Astoria sock.\u00a0 I wound my yarn into little balls and am trying to decide what order the colors should go in.<\/p>\n

I cast on for the combo on the right.\u00a0 But I’m thinking that the socks don’t have to exactly match, and may make the 2nd sock in a different order.\u00a0 Looking great so far, and I will post a progress photo soon.<\/p>\n
