The NY Sheep and Wool Festival is big, bold and beautiful. Most of my day was spent in Merritt Bookstores booth, where authors were available to answer questions and sign books.\u00a0 Once the gates opened, there was a solid flow of people.\u00a0 So. Many. People! When all of the copies of Annetarsia Knits were spoken for, and off to good homes, I went off to explore for a few hours before heading home.\u00a0 With limited time, I concentrated on the animals on display. I was impressed with the variety of breeds and the passion of the breeders who care for the animals.\u00a0 It was inspiring.\u00a0 I also came across a few vendors carrying “Annetarsia Knits”, and signed more copies.\u00a0 And, I just couldn’t avoid beautiful yarn.\u00a0 It was everywhere you looked.\u00a0 I know that I didn’t see everything in the short time that I had, but I definitely got a sense of community and the vast possibilties being explored in the fiber world!<\/p>\n

Emergency rations in the corner under the table. Unfortunately, I never had a minute to take a break. I sipped the chocolate milk a bit, that kept me going.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Setting up the author’s table at Rhinebeck. Within hours, every book Merritt Bookstore had ordered was sold, and the table wasn’t organized anymore! But knitter’s loved checking out the projects from “Annetarsia Knits”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
