<\/a>This project has been brewing for over a year, as Kate Bachus and I worked to make the perfect handful of colors to make a sock into a Spring Garden.\u00a0 Her kits normally contain 7 colors, and the Astoria sock has 8 stripes, so you helped to choose the 8th color, Sunshine!<\/a><\/p>\nThe kit is a wonderful deal, as you will get the extra color, and enough of each color to make the complete pair of socks and some left-over.\u00a0 The additional yarn is important, because you might want to make your ribbing out of a different color, or some other modification.\u00a0 I wanted you to have enough to play with.\u00a0 And, with the 15% discount Kate is giving you, the price is the same as her 7 color kits, so you are getting a whole color FREE!<\/p>\n
