It’s been a busy few weeks!\u00a0 Lots of traveling up and down the West Coast for Madrona Fiber Arts and Stitches West.\u00a0 I still haven’t unpacked or sorted through my photos and experiences – but I will be sharing them with you, I promise!\u00a0 Right now I am catching up at the office. Things sure pile up quickly when I am away.<\/p>\n

Over the last two weeks I met many wonderful people- delightful knitters, vendors, teachers.\u00a0 Thank you to everyone for making these events wonderful experiences for everyone.\u00a0 I miss you, already.<\/p>\n

My final class at Stitches West was on Sunday afternoon, when the market was closing and many people have gone home.\u00a0 Sometimes people are very tired at this point, but not the group who came to learn how to do Intarsia garter stitch!\u00a0 They were simply delightful, and were right on top of everything.\u00a0 I really enjoyed the whole class, the time simply flew.\u00a0 Here is a sample of their work.<\/p>\n

Helen, who visited us from Switzerland! She took to intarsia garter stitch very easily, and was zigging and zagging before I knew it.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This beautiful swatch, knit by Linda, is the first one I have ever seen that actually matches the class chart! That was fun to see.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I was fortunate to have Ella in two of my classes. She is an intrepid intarsia knitter, and loved finding out new ways to use the technique. Look at this beautiful swatch!
