{"id":2466,"date":"2015-03-28T15:47:18","date_gmt":"2015-03-28T15:47:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/annetarsia.com\/?p=2466"},"modified":"2015-03-28T15:47:18","modified_gmt":"2015-03-28T15:47:18","slug":"progress-on-all-fronts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bartonriveryarn.com\/annetarsia\/2015\/03\/progress-on-all-fronts\/","title":{"rendered":"Progress on all fronts!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The weather this spring has been spectacular, and I have been spending lots of time outside.\u00a0 I&#8217;m in heavy training for the Boston marathon, which means hours of running every week.\u00a0 It is cutting into my knitting time, but I only have a few weeks left until the event. Casting on, going to be a yoke tunic.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It took lots of swatching, a muslin yoke, lots of calculator time and math to see if I had enough yarn for all of this, but I am well on my way.\u00a0 The yoke is done and now I am happily knitting the body.\u00a0 The yarn really is yummy.\u00a0 I&#8217;m playing with shaping the body and having a wonderful time.<\/p>\n<p>I put Ziggy Zaggy on hold, because I want it to be in progress when I teach Intarsia Garter stitch at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interweaveyarnfest.com\/ehome\/index.php?eventid=100674&amp;tabid=220706&amp;\">Interweave Yarn Fest<\/a> in a few weeks, and it was progressing so fast I had to stop knitting!\u00a0 I just love knitting that pattern stitch.\u00a0\u00a0 Linda, from Stitches West, sent me a photo of her completed Dizzy scarf from Intarsia Garter stitch class.\u00a0 She did a great job!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2468\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2468\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bartonriveryarn.com\/annetarsia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/linda-scarf.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2468\" src=\"https:\/\/bartonriveryarn.com\/annetarsia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/linda-scarf-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Linda's finished Dizzy scarf, started as a swatch in Intarsia Garter stitch class, Stitches West.
