Adding beads to the cord, now.\u00a0 I don’t have beads large enough for the worsted weight yarn, so switched to the leftover yarn and beads from the Rock the Kasbah shawl.\u00a0 The finer yarn is trickier to work with, and I had to practice on tension, but it didn’t take long to get my rhythm.\u00a0 I’ve found that I like a tighter tension with the finer yarn.\u00a0 You can’t see the i-cord, but it makes a really pretty, and very strong cord.\u00a0 I’m using a crochet hook to put the beads on the yarn, but moving the loop over the loom with my fingers.\u00a0 The hairpin lace loom continues to work well, but I think a Lucet has to go on my Christmas list.\u00a0 It would make turning the work a lot faster.\u00a0 And you know how I like speed!\u00a0 For more info, go to www.stitchdiva.com to take the Challenge…<\/p>\n

\nSpeaking of which, I am making progress with the 2 knitting projects on the needles.\u00a0 The front of Messaline is looking good, and so is my little Annetarsia Fancy Feet sock.\u00a0\u00a0 When I put the projects together, in this photo, it looks like I have a real “arrow” thing going on, doesn’t it?\u00a0 Hopefully pointing in a good direction!<\/p>\n
