The first yarn store we visited on the MuskOx and Glaciers land tour was the Northern Threads<\/a>, in Fairbanks. \u00a0We were greeted by the store dogs carrying toys, which was absolutely charming. \u00a0This terrific store had a very impressive yarn and pattern inventory, as well as an enormous sewing and quilting section. \u00a0The yarn side had a nice central area of couches where the non-knitters relaxed in style. \u00a0The knitters took serious advantage of the sale prices arranged for us. \u00a0They weren’t kidding around with the discounts at Northern Threads – many lovely yarns were up to 50% off. \u00a0We had a great time choosing colors and fibers.<\/p>\n
