Generally, if knit tightly, the fabric is dense and stiff. This yarn can handle a tighter gauge and remain soft as a whisper. Knitting the sock with larger or smaller needles can be used to make the sock larger or smaller.<\/p>\n<p>With 3 charts to choose from, and the ability to change sizes with yarn weight and needle size, the knitter will be able to knit socks to fit from childhood to adulthood, as argyles were always intended.
