This stitch is ribbing with increase and decreases arranged to make an undulating line of knit stitches that surrounds little cocoons of purls. It’s fun to work and a great choice for gift knitting. These socks are worked cuff down with a French heel and a round toe that doesn’t require grafting with Kitchener stitch.
