These mittens are based on traditional Lithuanian designs that I’ve seen in museums, private collections, and markets in Lithuania. They’re a quick knit in worsted weight yarn

Yarn: Peace Fleece Worsted
Yarn weight: Worsted (9 wpi)
Gauge: 24 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in Stranded colorwork
Needle size: US 6 – 4.0 mm
Yardage: 300 yards (274 m)
Sizes available: 7 (8)” circumference, knit to desired length
