Peter Himself Cowl Knitting Pattern

This cowl is worked in a form of modular knitting.

The second is worked perpendicularly to the first in garter stitch, joined every other row with a decrease. Stitches are picked up along the edge of the garter stitch section for the third section, which is worked in checker stitch. Then another garter stitch section is worked, followed by a final checker section, which has buttonholes a few rows before binding off.

Yarn weight: Worsted (9 wpi) 
Gauge:12 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
Needle size: US 6 – 4.0 mm
