Become a Sock-Knitting Superstar!
My name is Donna Druchunas, and I am a dedicated knitter. When I’m not knitting, I’m writing about knitting (I wrote the books Arctic Lace, Successful Lace Knitting, Kitty Knits, and Ethnic Knitting Exploration: Lithuania, Iceland, and Ireland). When I’m not writing about knitting, I’m teaching knitting in workshops around the world, and in online, interactive classes right here on Craftsy. In Knit Sock Workshop, I will show you how to knit socks from the toe up—perfect for creating intricate, adventurous designs. From casting on to binding off, you’ll learn all the steps, and a ton of helpful tips. I’ll demonstrate two different ways to start a sock, and I’ll also show you three different heel types. You’ll become a master of the figure 8 cast-on as well as the stretchy bind-off. Reading charts becomes easy, and you’ll be creating lace and stranded colorwork in the round with double-pointed and circular needles.
You’ll see it all happen up-close, in vivid color and high-definition video. If you have questions: just ask! Your classmates and I are standing by to offer insight, advice, and to help you through any spots you get stuck on. Once you register, your enrollment lasts a lifetime. You can take my class whenever you want, and however many times you want. If you’re not completely satisfied, Craftsy will refund your money, no questions asked!
I can’t wait to meet you, and I can’t wait to teach you. There’s so much to learn, so much fun to have, and so many socks to make!
Join me in Knit Sock Workshop for only $24.99 — that’s 38% off today!

Which course is the best for someone who has never knit socks before? It seems the toe-up one requires that you know sock knitting already?
